Push Notifications: We use push notifications to remind you of upcoming expenses or account-related events. You can disable push notifications at any time in your device's operating system settings.

We retain data while you maintain an active account. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, unless required otherwise by law.

Third-Party Service Providers
We work with trusted third-party service providers who may receive your personal data to help us operate and improve TrackBay. Supabase (supabase.com/privacy) acts as our backend and stores all personal data including your email address, name, and subscription information. PostHog (posthog.com/privacy) receives your email address as a user identifier, along with in-app usage events, to help us understand how TrackBay is used and improve the product. RevenueCat (revenuecat.com/privacy) receives your email address, app user ID, and subscription or purchase data to manage in-app subscriptions and entitlements. Sentry (sentry.io/privacy) receives device information, operating system version, crash logs, and stack traces — and may include your email address when linked to an error report — to help us detect and fix issues. In-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), each subject to their own privacy policies.
Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, we process your personal data under the following legal bases as required by GDPR Article 6. Account creation and service delivery: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). Product analytics via PostHog and error monitoring via Sentry: legitimate interests in improving and maintaining a stable service (Art. 6(1)(f)). Push notification reminders: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time via your device settings (Art. 6(1)(a)). Subscription management via RevenueCat: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). Compliance with legal obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
